Media Release: Girls of Impact Officially Launched!

Girls of Impact Trinidad and Tobago (GOI), a Non-Profit Organization, was officially launched on Saturday, June 25th, under the theme “Empowering Young Women for a Life of Impact”.

Girls of Impact aims to empower young women and girls in T&T between the ages of 15 – 30 through mentorship, leadership training and volunteerism. It is a community for ambitious and impactful young women who desire to succeed in education, career, and entrepreneurship. The organization was created out of a need to foster a community for underserved young women to access resources to succeed in life while creating a lasting social impact.

Founder and Executive Director of Girls of Impact, Ms Renee Atwell, in her address, encouraged attendees to examine the concept of the “holistic woman” and the understated importance of one’s contribution to creating impact in other non-traditional ways that will inevitably add value to a young woman’s life.
