At Girls of Impact T&T, we are committed to empowering young women through leadership development, mentorship, and community engagement. As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team! We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

  • Membership Engagement Officer
  • Programme Coordinator
  • Tobago Programme Coordinator
  • Tobago Membership Officer
  • Volunteer Coordinator
  • Administrative Coordinator

Please note: All positions are voluntary and non-remunerative.

Available Positions & Responsibilities:

[1] Membership Engagement Officer

Role Summary: The Membership Engagement Officer is responsible for fostering an engaged and active membership community within Girls of Impact. This role involves coordinating initiatives to enhance member participation, organizing networking opportunities, and ensuring members are informed about events and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engagement strategies to enhance the membership experience.
  • Plan and coordinate networking events, member meetups, and engagement activities.
  • Maintain communication with members via newsletters, WhatsApp, and social media.
  • Work closely with the Membership Team to onboard and support new members.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event planning or community engagement is an asset.
  • Passion for empowering young women and fostering leadership.

[2] Programme Coordinator

Role Summary: The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of Girls of Impact’s programmes and events. This role involves organizing mentorship programmes, workshops, and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute Girls of Impact’s programmes and workshops.
  • Develop programme timelines and liaise with facilitators and partner organizations.
  • Assist with programme evaluation to assess impact.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in project management or event coordination.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

[3] Tobago Programme Coordinator

Role Summary: The Tobago Programme Coordinator will oversee Girls of Impact programmes and initiatives specific to Tobago, ensuring that activities are tailored to the needs of young women on the island.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute Girls of Impact programmes in Tobago.
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community leaders.
  • Support mentorship, leadership training, and development programmes on the island.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in programme coordination or community engagement.
  • Familiarity with Tobago’s social landscape and youth development initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

[4] Tobago Membership Officer

Role Summary: The Tobago Membership Officer will support membership growth and engagement efforts specifically for young women in Tobago.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and onboard new members in Tobago.
  • Plan and execute local membership engagement activities.
  • Ensure Tobago members stay informed about national events and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for youth empowerment and gender equality.
  • Prior experience in community engagement is a plus.

[5] Volunteer Coordinator

Role Summary: The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for identifying volunteerism opportunities for our members and supporting volunteers where required. This role requires good communication and interpersonal skills as well as administrative abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive volunteer programme in line with our mission.
  • Identify and manage volunteer opportunities and projects.
  • Support and supervise volunteers while providing orientation and training.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in volunteer coordination or project management is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

[6] Administrative Coordinator

Role Summary: This role supports the administration of Girls of Impact, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and team coordination.
  • Manage email correspondence and maintain important documentation.
  • Support other team members with logistics and planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
