Girls of Impact Trinidad and Tobago Launches Inaugural Mentorship Programme – Cohort 1
The Girls of Impact Trinidad and Tobago (GOI), a Non-Profit Organization, which was officially launched on 25th June 2022, hosted its inaugural mentorship programme titled “Accelerate Her” for Cohort 1.
‘Accelerate Her’, which is the first mentorship programme of Girls of Impact, is a female-focused career mentorship accelerator that aims to equip young girls and women who desire professional and personal guidance to help them move forward into the working world. The 12-week programme, which ran from September to December 2022), and engaged approximately thirty-nine (39) mentees and fifteen (15) mentors, was curated to provide aspiring young girls and women with the necessary tools to broaden their knowledge and reach. This mentorship programme adopts a reciprocal mentorship model where female mentees are matched with mentors who work in an aspirational career field.
