Girls of Impact creates opportunities for girls and young women to develop the skills, networks, confidence and experiences they need to lead, thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Our work spans leadership and career development, girls’ empowerment and wellbeing, climate and sustainable development, civic leadership and advocacy, and community action.
Across each area, our goal is the same: to help create a Caribbean where girls and young women have the opportunity and support to realise their potential and help shape the future of the region.

Leadership & Career Development
Preparing young women for what comes next.
We equip young women with practical skills, professional exposure, mentorship and networks that help them navigate education, careers, entrepreneurship and leadership. From career readiness and financial literacy to public speaking, mentorship and professional development, we help young women build the confidence and capabilities to pursue their ambitions.
Girls’ Empowerment & Wellbeing
Creating spaces where girls can learn, grow and thrive.
We support the personal development and wellbeing of girls and young women by creating safe, supportive spaces where they can strengthen their confidence, access information and resources, and build meaningful connections. We place particular emphasis on reaching girls and young women who may have fewer opportunities because of geography, socioeconomic circumstances or limited access to development programmes.
Climate & Sustainable Development
Building a generation of young women ready to lead a sustainable Caribbean.
Climate change is shaping the future of Caribbean communities, and young women must be part of the solutions. We build young women’s knowledge, leadership and advocacy capacity on climate change and sustainable development while creating opportunities for them to participate in conversations and initiatives shaping the region’s future.
Civic Leadership & Advocacy
Helping young women find their voice, and use it.
We create opportunities for girls and young women to understand the issues affecting their communities, participate in meaningful dialogue and strengthen their ability to advocate for themselves and others.
Through civic education, advocacy, youth engagement, research and dialogue, we are working to increase young women’s participation in the conversations and decisions that affect their lives.
Community Action
Turning leadership into service.
We believe leadership should create impact beyond the individual. Through volunteerism, youth-led projects, outreach and community initiatives, girls and young women have opportunities to apply their skills, respond to community needs and experience what it means to create change.

ACCELERATE HER: Career & Leadership Development
Our flagship career and leadership development programme equips young women with practical skills, mentorship, professional exposure and opportunities to translate learning into community impact.
EMPOWER HER: Girls’ Empowerment & Development
An initiative designed to bring personal development, leadership and empowerment opportunities directly to girls, including those in rural and underserved communities.
SHE LEADS CLIMATE ADVOCACY: Climate Leadership
Equipping young women with the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand climate issues, advocate for their communities and participate in climate action.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: Leadership, Dialogue & Connection
Our annual International Women’s Day initiatives bring girls and young women together to learn, connect and engage with issues affecting women and girls.
