Talent is everywhere, but access to opportunity, professional networks, mentorship and career guidance is not.
Girls of Impact supports young women as they navigate the transition from education into employment, entrepreneurship and leadership. We create opportunities for them to develop practical skills, build meaningful professional relationships, learn from experienced leaders and gain the confidence to make informed decisions about their futures.
Our goal is not simply to help young women secure their next opportunity. We want to equip them with the tools, networks and experiences to build careers with confidence, exercise leadership and create impact wherever their journeys take them.

For many young women, entering the professional world can mean navigating unfamiliar territory.
Understanding how to prepare for an interview, build a professional network, communicate your value, manage your finances, identify career opportunities or find a mentor can significantly influence the trajectory of a young person’s career.
Yet access to these opportunities and networks is not equal.

ACCELERATE HER CAREER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Accelerate Her is Girls of Impact’s flagship leadership and career development programme for young women.
The programme combines structured mentorship with practical personal and professional development, career exposure, networking and opportunities for participants to put leadership into action.
Since its first cohort, Accelerate Her has evolved into a comprehensive development experience designed to support young women as they navigate education, employment, entrepreneurship and emerging leadership.
Participants learn from experienced professionals, strengthen practical career skills, build relationships with other ambitious young women and apply their leadership through community impact.
BEYOND THE PROGRAMME
Career development shouldn’t end when a programme does.
Our wider leadership and career development work creates opportunities for young women beyond our flagship programmes.
Through workshops, resources, partnerships, professional exposure, mentorship and our growing community, we aim to help young women continue developing throughout different stages of their educational and professional journeys.
As Girls of Impact expands across the Caribbean, we envision creating even more opportunities for young women to access mentors, professional networks, career resources and regional learning experiences.
